Sexually transmitted diseases
focus on safety
Besides HIV, chlamydia, hepatitis B and C, gonorrhea, syphilis, trichomonas and herpes are among the most widespread sexually transmitted infectious diseases in Germany. Chlamydia infections are the most common. The most serious consequence is that not all diseases show clear symptoms. People often spread sexually transmitted diseases without knowing it.
The rapid examination of a blood or urine sample*, in which a very small number of pathogens can be detected thanks to state-of-the-art procedures, creates certainty. Once the findings have been issued, rapid action can be taken to prevent the spread of the disease and possible consequential damage.
* For the best possible diagnosis, you should refrain from urinating 4 hours before an appointment.
